Netflix's new trailer for Castlevania spin-off Castlevania: Nocturne is here, adapting video games Castlevania: Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night for television.

Set during the French Revolution, Castlevania: Nocturne follows Richter Belmont, the last descendant of a long line of vampire hunters. As the aristocracy pledges allegiance to the Vampire Messiah, the sorceress Annette seeks out Richter to lead the fight against the vampires and save humanity.

In addition to Richter, the eight-episode series will also include other well-known characters from the Castlevania franchise such as magic-user Maria Renard.

Castlevania: Nocturne arrives Sept. 28 on Netflix.
