When Fyodor the baby squirrel monkey was abandoned by his mother at a Siberian zoo, he probably thought his life was over forever.

Thankfully for the little mite, a friendly Russian cat has taken him under her wing (or rather her fur).

Rosinka, a 16-year-old cat owned by the zoo's director Tatyana Antropova, has been letting the primate cling to her back for warmth, according to the Associated Press.

Antropova says that the cat is gradually getting tired of the tiny monkey "biting and pinching" her, though, and that Fyodor is eventually going to head back to the zoo to hang with the other squirrel monkeys.
