Young child belts Soundgarden's ‘Black Hole Sun’ in the shower

We're often quick to dismiss the music tastes of small children. That's normally fine, but then a child like this comes along who tosses aside Yo Gabba Gabba tunes and instead sings "Black Hole Sun" by '90s grunge darlings Soundgarden -- with the time-honored vocal aid of a hot shower.

How a 6-year-old boy came to learn this track is unknown, but presumably he has cool, flannel-clad parents. Or maybe grade-schoolers are somehow all about Soundgarden these days.

His voice doesn't have quite the roughness as Chris Cornell's just yet, nor does he croon any of the lyrics besides "Black Hole Sun, won't you come," but he's getting there. Should grunge ever return, it's good to know he'll be ready.
