If the concept of a robotic Santa Claus going rogue and killing everything in its festive wake isn't enough to get you excited for a movie, then frankly I don't know what will.

Shudder's trailer above for Joe Begos' Christmas Bloody Christmas follows Tori (Riley Dandy) and her friends as their Christmas eve drinks get derailed by the aforementioned Yuletide Terminator.

The movie looks dangerously fun, extremely violent, and – and – the robot even has green lazer eyes that get activated partway through! Now you really want to watch it, don't you? This is well beyond Violent Night.

Christmas Bloody Christmas is coming to theatres and Shudder on Dec. 9.
