Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall, and James Earl Jones are back in royal fashion for the first Coming 2 America trailer.

Where the first movie focused on Prince Akeem traveling to Queens to find a queen, the trailer reveals the sequel's new plot — King Akeem returning to Queens to find the son and heir he never knew he had. It does raise a few questions, mainly if Lisa (Shari Headley, also returning) is the son's mother, how the kid ended up in New York, and if he's dealing with rent hikes in Long Island City like the rest of us, but the spirit of the original film is all over the new footage.

In true Murphy/Hall tradition, both actors appear to be reprising the multiple roles they played in the original, from the barbershop elders to the inimitable, iconic Randy Watson of Sexual Chocolate.

Coming 2 America premieres on Amazon Prime Video March 5, 2021.
