Everything is more interesting in slow motion. That's not an opinion, it's a straight up fact.

YouTubers, Warped Perception, have just proved as much with a masterpiece of elegance: Corn popping in slow-mo.

On the subject of YouTube's ongoing fascination with slow motion footage, Warped's Matt Mikka has some theories. "I believe that slow motion and ultra slow motion videos give us a look into a world which we normally cannot see but we know it exists," he told Mashable over Messenger.

"It extends the ability of the human eye and human perception in a sense."

It's not just corn popping, friends. It's an entirely new way of understanding the world. Also, it's simply cool to watch.
