The first trailer for Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time is a colorful, vibrant rush of action and platforming that loudly declares: Crash is back, baby.

Crash 4 was revealed on Monday during the Summer Games Fest live stream. This game is the first new entry in the Crash since 1998 and follows 2017's remaster of the first three games, Crash N. Sane Trilogy. Crash is back, Dr. Neo Cortex is back, and the demanding, difficult platforming is back.

The trailer shows off some really pretty new areas that players will be running and jumping through along with a nod to a new mask feature; when Crash puts on different masks, he gets different abilities to help him in his adventure.

Crash 4 is crashing onto PlayStation 4 on Oct. 2.
