Crash Bandicoot bonus rounds are known for being tough, but damn.

The long-lost Stormy Ascent level -- the one fabled to be too difficult to make it into the original release of the game in 1996 -- was announced and released for free yesterday at San Diego Comic Con. As players attempt to complete what is already a difficult level, they've discovered its bonus round to be a fittingly difficult end, too.

Redditor Watson1503 almost manages to get out of there alive, but even they are taken down by the hellish-looking bonus round.
