San Diego Comic-Con is already delivering plenty of exciting trailers, and as a nice bonus, this one is actually related to comic books for a change.

Creature Commandos is a new animated series coming to Max in December, with each episode written by D.C. cinematic universe guru James Gunn. It follows a black ops squad of monsters headed up by Amanda Waller (Viola Davis), which includes a version of Frankenstein's monster played by David Harbour and Alan Tudyk as Doctor Phosphorous.

As the first official TV series in the new D.C. cinematic universe, Creature Commandos has a bit of heavy lifting to do, but fans will be able to check it out in December.
