There's at least one person directly involved in the Crying Jordan meme who doesn't want it to die as soon as possible: Stephan Savoia, the AP photographer who snapped the picture of a tearful Jordan in the first place.

In a mini-documentary created by 2 Point Lead, Savoia says that he finds the whole thing pretty humorous. He wasn't even aware of the image's popularity until a Wall Street Journal reporter called him to talk about it.

"My kids started looking it up on their phones, they were aware of it and couldn't believe that I was the one that shot the picture," Savoia says. "I mean, that's pretty funny stuff."

As for Jordan himself, well, he remains slightly less enthusiastic about the whole thing.
