New Zealand's police department definitely has the moves and they are not afraid to use them. They want to show who they are behind the uniform, what their interests and hobbies are, so that they can earn the trust of their community. It's all part of a campaign called 'Beyond the Blue,' which aims to draw people and police closer to each other.

The man behind the idea for the viral Kiwi police videos, James Whitaker, who is their Brand and Engagement Manager, told Mashable, "we are hoping that through this campaign, people will get to know us better. That they will be more inclined to work for us, and, most importantly, feeling comfortable about coming forward to us when they are in need."
