Who knew that a massive robot dance party could scare the living daylights out of you.

These 1,069 harmless (we assume) "Dobi" robots from WL Tech were dancing their little metal hearts out this week to set a record for the most robots dancing simultaneously.

And it looks like congratulations are in order because, according to the feat-measuring folks at the Guinness World Records, these nearly knee-high-sized robots did in fact break the world record.

None of the robots complained during the dance in Guangzhou, Guangdong China, because, to be honest, none of them have their own brain. The nearly perfectly executed dance was managed via a central control system (a few robots fell over, but we won't hold that against them, lest they turn on us).

Along with some smooth dance moves, the Dobi robots can, according to Guinness World Records, sing, box, and do "kung fu" moves (a clear red flag).

The Dobi dancing team performance nudges aside previous robot dancing team record holder, QRC-2, which could only manage 1,007 synchronous automatons last year.
