Stephen Colbert's video interview with Daniel Radcliffe may have been 13 minutes long, but that number is actually a little misleading — because the first four minutes are nothing but technical issues.

"Can't hear a word, but you look very nice!" says Colbert a short way into the call, as his team frantically try to get the young wizard's voice into the host's earpiece.

Their solution, after several minutes of awkward scrambling? Radcliffe holds up his phone number on a piece of white paper, and the two end up chatting on their cell phones.

Their subsequent conversation — during which Radcliffe shows off his giant Jurassic Park Lego creation — is well worth the wait.
