As does any job, the acting profession has its own unique hazards.
And as Danny DeVito discovered on the set of Batman Returns (1992), a monkey biting your balls is one of them.
The bite took place during the filming for a scene in which a trained monkey was supposed to deliver a message to the actor's iconic character, the Penguin.
However, the sensible simian was apparently not too keen on DeVito's Penguin getup.
"The monkey comes down, takes one look at me, and leaps at my balls," DeVito revealed on The Graham Norton Show.
Sounds like a reasonable response to us.
