If you were considering equipping your vehicle with a dashcam, this may be the clip that sets you over the edge.

These tiny cameras have become super popular in recent years, and for good reason. Whether you need video evidence of an accident or attempted insurance fraud, dashcams have helped out countless motorists who otherwise would be in some serious financial trouble.

Check out this cammer, who captured a man on a scooter attempt what appears to be an insurance fraud attempt. In the clip, the scooter driver suddenly pulls out into the lane and stops. When the driver of the car also stops, the rider backs his scooter into the car, and jumps onto the hood of the car to stage an accident. The man also has an accomplice, who is taking photos or filming.

But when the woman points out that she has a camera, the dudes both run off real quick.

Some people have questioned the authenticity of the clip, which would just really be the icing on the cake. A scammer attempting to pass off a fake viral video of a scam.
