During his show open, James Corden proclaimed divas of the past superior to divas of today and Demi Lovato had something to say about that.

In the video above, Lovato and Corden sing their hearts out with the accompaniment of YouTube a cappella group Levels. Lovato belts out songs by Adele and Katy Perry, and Corden bites back with some of Tina Turner and Aretha Franklin's greatest hits.

The battle came to a victorious end when Lovato sang her own song, "Heart Attack." Demi won the battle, but the war came to a draw with both deciding that divas then and now are both fab.
