Osiris is coming to 'Destiny 2,' and he looks like a freaking badass

The 'Destiny 2' adventure continues on Dec. 5.

The first Destiny 2 expansion is out on Dec. 5 and it's called -- as rumors have long since made clear -- Curse of Osiris.

The premise is that this Osiris fellow, the so-called "most notorious Guardian in Vanguard history" who was banished for unclear reasons, is back. Why he's back and what his intentions are is anyone's guess.

The trailer you see above doesn't give up much, but that Kotaku report from late August suggested that this first add-on will feature a brand new patrol zone (i.e. open world exploration) on Mercury, among other things. Not mentioned in the earlier report is any kind of endgame activity, such as a raid, though you can probably bet on something along those lines as well.
