Gory horror fuses with surreal comedy in the trailer for Shudder's Destroy All Neighbors, Josh Forbes' waking nightmare about a struggling musician (Jonah Ray) who descends into a living nightmare after he accidentally murders his awful neighbor Vlad (Alex Winter).

The trailer looks impressively silly, and there's a cameo in there from Kumail Nanjiani to watch out for. This one should fit in well alongside Shudder's already well-stocked offering of horror comedies.

How to watch: Destroy All Neighbors is streaming on Shudder from Jan. 12.

UPDATE: Dec. 18, 2023, 9:27 a.m. EST This article has been revised. Previously the lead of Destroy All Neighbors was misidentified as Thomas Lennon.
