Why conduct a regular interview when you can go rollerskating together?

Pulling on their own custom Timberland skates for some "Good Wholesome Fun" at a roller rink, Desus and Mero chatted to artist and excellent rollerskater Lil Nas X about handling the recent conservative backlash to his music video for "Montero (Call Me By Your Name)," his infamous "Satan Shoes," and his Saturday Night Live wardrobe malfunction.

"Did you ever think that the outrage was going to reach the level it did? Because Fox News was on you every 10 minutes," says Desus.

"Even when I was playing the video I was like, oh this is definitely going to hit Fox News," responds Lil Nas X. "I definitely didn't expect the outrage as much as it was at all, especially governors tweeting me, like, you're a governor. You don't have anything better to do?"

But it's not all chats, of course. The three hit the rink for a few turns, some with a little assistance. And Lil Nas X doesn't just know how to skate well — he makes it look like a whole music video.

"Oh, I'll give you a montage," he says.
