Audition tapes are always a fun little treat for movie fans, but this reel for Pokémon: Detective Pikachu is something else.
In a funny little video for Detective Pikachu posted by Ryan Reynolds (the voice behind the titular Pikachu detective), we get a look at what it would be like for realistic Pokémon to audition for a feature film. In reality, it looks more like test animations for several Pokémon like Evee, Charizard, Aipom, and more, but it's a fun look at the creatures nonetheless.
There are also a handful of clips from the actual movie in this video, including Pikachu tossing a useless Magikarp into battle. Classic Magikarp.
