In the words of the late, great Krombopulos Michael: "Oh boy, here I go killing again!"

Ahead of Dexter's limited series return, slated for later in 2021, Showtime dropped a teaser for lead Michael C. Hall's updated take on the iconic serial killer. It's a meager 30-second snippet, but tells longtime fans of the dark comedy-drama some vital information about the homecoming.

First, Dexter finally shaved that awful beard. And, oh yeah, he's killing again.

At the end of Season 8, which if you can believe it aired almost 8 years ago, Dexter moved to the woods to be a poorly-groomed lumberjack and wistfully remember his horrible crimes. But based on the saran-wrapped body in the background of this teaser, that plan didn't stick.

Dexter is slated to return later this year... but the incessant theorizing about it starts now.
