Everyone shut up, Cate Blanchett is on the TV.

Written and directed by Alfonso Cuarón and based on Renée Knight's novel, upcoming seven-part Apple TV+ series Disclaimer stars Blanchett and Kevin Kline in full thriller mode — and we've got a teaser trailer.

Blanchett is the lead as lauded journalist Catherine Ravenscroft. When she receives a mysterious novel from an anonymous author with a narrative built from secrets from her past, Catherine realises she needs to figure out who's behind it all before her family, colleagues, and readers find out. It's no beach read, we can tell you that much.

Sacha Baron Cohen is in rare drama mode starring as Catherine's husband Robert, while Kodi Smit-McPhee plays her son Nicholas. The cast also features Lesley Manville, Hoyeon, Louis Partridge, and Leila George.

Disclaimer will premiere on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes on Oct. 11, with by new episodes every Friday through Nov. 15.
