With the release of Rogue One swiftly approaching (next week!), it's time to crank up the hype machine. And this being a Disney release, we should have expected the studio to do so in a big way.

On Monday night, Spaceship Earth, the nearly 35-year-old giant silver sphere in the middle of Disney's Epcot Center in Orlando, was transformed from a glittering ball of hope into an even more famous glittering ball of doom: the Death Star.

The transformation came complete with lasers and explosions but reports claim that no Bothans were harmed in the production.
