Disney+'s first original series out of the UK is a rom-com action thriller that puts a little murdery spin on marriage proceedings.

Wedding Season follows Katie (Rosa Salazar) and Sean (Gavin Drea), who start an affair after meeting at a wedding — even though Katie is engaged. At Katie's own wedding, her husband and his whole family end up murdered. Not a good look.

Who did it? Stefan? Katie? The trailer dropped Thursday suggests it could be anyone, and it might take a few weddings to get to the truth, perhaps.

Directed by Crashing's George Kane and The Lazarus Project's Laura Scrivano, the series has been created by Cheaters scribe Oliver Lyttelton — so you can expect high drama blended with sharp comedy. Jade Harrison, Jamie Michie, Callie Cooke, Bhav Joshi, Ioanna Kimbook, Omar Baroud, and George Webster are also starring.

Wedding Season is streaming on Disney+ in the UK and Hulu in the U.S. from Sept. 8.
