Maybe we're alone in thinking that strapping three box cutters to your hand could end badly. Somehow this DIY by The Q makes it seem like a very nuanced and ambitious project with impeccable safeguards. Only knuckles will be able to tell otherwise.

Basically anything that requires a circular saw (and multiple other, like, contraptions) seems extremely legitimate. And comic book fans love nothing like they love legitimacy, which makes these Real Blade Wolverine Claws seem like a very plausible feature at your next ComiCon.

What we're saying is, buy some blade-proof long sleeve shirts and strap in. It's not the weirdest thing to happen in 2017, but it's still pretty neat.
