The Shining is one of Stephen King's most famous books and Stanley Kubrick's best known movies, and the new trailer for Doctor Sleep pays homage to both of those seminal works.
Doctor Sleep, based on King's 2013 sequel to The Shining, follows the story of a grown-up Danny Torrance still dealing with the effects of his traumatic childhood stay at the Overlook Hotel, and the trailer flashes back to some of the movie's iconic scenes — creepy twins, bathtub ladies, "Here's Johnny" and all.
Doctor Sleep hits theaters Nov. 8, 2019.
