Lando Calrissian makes his 'Saturday Night Live' debut to address diversity in space

We won't actually get to see Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian in Solo: A Star Wars Story until May 25, but thanks to Glover's double duty gig on Saturday Night Live this weekend, we get a sneak glimpse of Calrissian in the comedy space.

In the sketch, Lando hosts a summit gathering all the black folks in the galaxy — all four of them. Rogue One's Saw Gerrera, played hysterically by Kenan Thompson, makes an appearance to address the very empty room. It's a biting commentary on the lack of diversity in the franchise, that can be summed up perfectly in one line:

"I would like to read a list of all the black humans who lived before us to honor their of all the black humans who lived before us to honor their memory," Thompson says. "Mace Windu."
