Atlanta's Brian Tyree Henry leads Apple TV+'s brand new crime drama Dope Thief — one of the new TV shows we're looking forward to this year.

Based on Dennis Tafoya’s novel, this series from Ridley Scott and Peter Craig follows Philadelphia friends, Ray (Henry) and Manny (Wagner Moura), as they pose as DEA agents to rob drug dealers. But their run-of-the-mill heist goes awry when they hit the wrong house. Suddenty, they've got members of a global drug empire on a path of vengeance. With their families under threat and the hunters closing in, Ray and Manny have to find a way out.

Marin Ireland, Kate Mulgrew, Nesta Cooper, Amir Arison, and Ving Rhames also star.

Dope Thief premieres March 14 on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes, then streams weekly every Friday.
