Dwayne Johnson leads A24's The Smashing Machine as MMA icon and UFC champion Mark Kerr, with the first teaser trailer out today.
Written and directed by Uncut Gems' Benny Safdie, the film sees the Fast and Furious actor and WWE legend as Kerr, tracking his life and career across professional victories and personal struggles, through fight championships and increasing substance abuse.
Emily Blunt plays Kerr's then-wife Dawn Staples, Ryan Bader plays UFC champion Mark Coleman, and Oleksandr Usyk plays MMA fighter Igor Vovchanchyn.
The Smashing Machine hits cinemas Oct. 3.
