We've all heard the wild rumours about how Ed Sheeran got that scar on his right cheek.

But what's the man himself got to say about the alleged incident, which apparently involved James Blunt and a sword-wielding princess?

Well, not much.

When asked about the scar on The Graham Norton Show on Friday, Sheeran looked more than a little uncomfortable.

"Mate, I can't talk about this," he says in the clip above, before hastily blaming the whole thing on James Blunt.

"It was James Blunt," Sheeran says. "It was James Blunt, trying to get his pop career back."
