Elizabeth Warren says selfies are the 'most fun' part of campaigning

In an appearance on The Late Show on Tuesday, Elizabeth Warren told Stephen Colbert that the "most fun" part of her presidential campaign is taking selfies with supporters.

It's a good thing Warren thinks they're fun: Her campaign rally in New York City on Monday — which 20,000 people attended — ended with a four-hour-long selfie line. (Colbert apologized for his comparatively meager audience of 450.) She told Colbert that she sees one-on-one time with attendees as emblematic of the fact that they're equal partners in the fight for change.

"It means that for every single person who stays in that line — and look, somebody waited four hours, the guy at the end — but it's about power." she said.

According to CNN, Warren has taken over 59,000 selfies since the presidential race began. Campaign manager Roger Lau said that Warren decided early on in the campaign that she'd consider an event a failure if "even a single person" seeking a photo didn't get one.

We imagine you've already seen evidence of that on Instagram.
