A dark forest full of wild beasts. A wordless journey told through music. A corrupting force. These are the themes of Fe, an independent title being published via EA's new indie-focused Originals program.

Fe gives you control of a young fox cub exploring the forest for the first time. You must learn to communicate with nature through song, and each song unlocks more of the forest. But the corrupting force of the "silent ones" lurks around every corner.

The game, which doesn't have a release date yet, was shown to the public for the first time on Sunday at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles.
