First comes erotic fan-fiction, then comes a movie deal, and then comes the final film of the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy.

On Sunday the preview of the series' third movie, Fifty Shades Freed, came out way ahead of its Valentine's Day release.

Freed features our BDSM couple Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, played by Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson, for a third time, tying the knot in what's sure to be an insufferable wedding ceremony.

If the trailer is any clue of what's to come, it'll be more drama, sexual innuendo, bare skin, some violence, and more poorly written dialogue and plots.

But the biggest worry about the upcoming film is that it's not the last.

Series author E.L. James wrote a spin-off book from Christian Grey's perspective back in 2015. With fans' undying fascination with all things Fifty Shades, that might get the movie treatment next.
