Each year, wildfire seasons start earlier, threatening life and further exacerbating the climate crisis. As fires grow bigger, the technology we rely on to tame them must get smarter. For Drone Amplified, a company specializing in a fireball-dropping drone system, the answer is simple: contain wildfires faster and reduce the risk for firefighters. Upon command, the device releases small incendiary spheres which, once having hit the ground, start a controlled ignition. The new fire consumes the oxygen around, making it impossible for the wildfire to spread.
