A Connecticut woman's life was saved after her Fitbit detected an alarming rise in her heart rate. She immediately went to the hospital where doctors told her she had a deadly blood clot in her lungs. This is not the first reported time that the device has aided doctors. In 2016, doctors were able to determine how to treat a man based off the data from the app.
