Flatliners is getting revived.

The brand-new remake of the 1990 horror film stars Ellen Page as one of a group of med students who subject themselves to near-death experiences to learn about the afterlife.

Needless to say, this turns out to be a very bad idea. While the students are initially thrilled by the results, pushing themselves to further and further extremes, they eventually realize that they've brought back some not-so-pleasant things with them.

Diego Luna, James Norton, Nina Dobrev, and Kiersey Clemons make up the rest of the cast. Flatliners is in theaters September 29.
