12-year-old Fresh off the Boat star Hudson Yang just moved up a rung in assimilating with his character, chef Eddie Huang.

The child actor is in Taiwan for Season 3 of the hit show, which brings the family to Huang's native country for the premiere.

And who better to show Yang around than Janet Hsieh, who hosts travel show Fun Taiwan. The two went to the Shilin Night Market, one of Taiwan's most famous, where she showed him an array of "delicious" local delicacies including chicken feet, pig's blood cubes and fermented tofu.

"It's pork blood pudding covered with peanut paste," Hsieh says simply, as Yang looks on in dismay.

Hsieh later makes him eat fermented tofu, colloquially called "stinky tofu", as he squirms.

"You have a weird version of delicious," he tells Hsieh.
