When most people see those venomous eight-legged demons known as "spiders," their instinct is to run. But according to one zoo's new PSA, people should be picking them up. Carefully, mind you. With a jar.

The Australian Reptile Park has issued out a country-wide call out for "responsible adults" to embrace their fears and capture deadly funnel-web spiders, in an effort to solve a serious anti-venom shortage.

Funnel-web venom is a key ingredient in the antidote used to treat bites from the spider, and last year venom supplies began to run dangerously low.

The above video is full of handy hints as well as terrifying spider facts, and has been designed to teach people the best way to capture the evil-looking arachnids.

The highlight? Don't use plastic containers to trap funnel-webs, as their "fangs can pierce right through them."

Yep, that's not horrifying at all.
