'Game of Thrones' composer plays theme song with a Nintendo Labo piano

In a cruel twist of fate, Ramin Djawadi, the acclaimed composer of Game of Thrones' iconic theme song, had his orchestra of talented musicians replaced with a cardboard piano, but he still managed to make do.

Using nothing but a Nintendo Switch and a Nintendo Labo cardboard piano, Djawadi recreated the Game of Thrones theme song, recording separate parts for the bass line, the melody, and the percussion. You can tell he's a bit uneasy about the whole thing — what respectable musician wouldn't be — but nevertheless nails it.

Let's not replace the orchestra with the Labo piano, though, please.
