It's almost back, you only have a couple more weeks, but in the meantime, here's a reminder of how awesome Game of Thrones is -- in sand!
Poland-based sand artist Tetiana Galitsyna regularly uses her nimble fingers and the grainy medium to craft portraits of all kinds, but this time she decided to do the same in honor of the series' return, and it's beautiful.
Set to the theme music of the show, Galitsyna takes us from the iconic direwolves, to the Iron Throne, to Cersei Lannister, and she even gives us an amazing look at the white walker's Night's King. These shifting sands of blood and royal intrigue are a pale shadow of the show itself, but until July 16, when it returns to HBO, it's the next best thing.
