If there's one thing gory superhero show The Boys is known for, it's being decidedly family-unfriendly. Now the new trailer for spinoff Gen V is out, and it looks as though the next generation will follow in its bloody footsteps.

Gen V follows the students at Godolkin University, an institute training young adult superheroes who were injected with Compound V to give them powers. They're all competing to be the top of the school, but soon discover that the Vought International-run institute is hiding some dark secrets.

The series features Jaz Sinclair as blood manipulator Marie Moreau, as well as Chance Perdomo, Lizze Broadway, Shelley Conn, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Asa Germann, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sean Patrick Thomas, and Marco Pigossi. And, of course, series regulars from The Boys will also be popping their heads in from time to time.

Gen V arrives Sept. 29 on Prime Video.
