The serene countryside of 1980s Sweden has been invaded by a bunch of angry, killer robots and you and your friends have to stop them.

Generation Zero, the latest project from Avalanche Studios, was announced with a trailer on Thursday showing off a man vs. machine action shooter with a strong Stranger Things vibe. According to a press release, the game allows you to play solo or team up with up to three other players for co-op multiplayer.

Generation Zero will be shown at E3 so expect more information about the tactical action game in the next week.
