In 'Saturday Night Live' history, few celebrity impressions are better and more legendary than Dana Carvey's take on George H.W. Bush.

Former president George H.W. Bush died on Friday, and Saturday Night Live took a moment the next evening to pay tribute.

The Weekend Update sketch paused to air a montage of Dana Carvey impersonations of the former president. Carvey's legendary Bush Sr. impression has no equal, and it became such a fixture of pop culture during the '90s that Bush Sr. himself once got on camera to spar with the SNL alum.
