Liked Gone Girl, but wish it'd featured more forms of transportation? If so, The Girl on the Train -- another splashy film adaptation of another bestselling, female-driven thriller -- might be just the movie for you.

The film's first atmospheric teaser is short on plot, but long on creepy visuals (and a murky version of Kanye West's "Heartless"). All you really need to know: The action's been transported from London to New York, the missing woman played by Haley Bennett has a great head of hair, and Emily Blunt's alcoholic Rachel is looking mighty suspicious.

Train zooms into theaters Oct. 7.
