The new God of War finally has a release date: The game is coming out on April 20, Sony revealed in a new story trailer Tuesday.

In the new God of War, the fourth game in the main series, the protagonist Kratos finds himself taking care of his young son as they journey through a cold world based on Norse mythology. The trailer reveals a little bit of the relationship between Kratos and his son, Kratos's struggles as a god, and some new monsters and characters the pair will meet (and probably fight) throughout the course of the game.

The game is coming exclusively to PlayStation 4 and will be available for preorder. The digital deluxe edition will be available for $69.99, a collector's edition (which comes with a statue, a map, and more) will be $129.99, and the stone mason edition (with even more stuff) will be $149.99.
