The official trailer for dramedy Good Grief is here, and it looks like Dan Levy is aiming for a much different tone to Schitt's Creek.

Good Grief follows Marc (Levy), a widower left reeling after the death of his husband Oliver (Luke Evans). Struggling to process the tragedy, Marc decides to visit Paris with his best friends Sophie (Ruth Negga) and Thomas (Himesh Patel) in hopes of rekindling some joy. However, rather than simply being a pleasant distraction, the trip ends up unearthing some difficult truths for the trio that they each must deal with.

Written, directed, and co-produced by Levy, the film also stars Celia Imrie, David Bradley, Arnaud Valois, Emma Corrin, Kaitlyn Dever, and Luke Evans.

Good Grief arrives in select theatres on Dec. 29, before streaming on Netflix from Jan. 5.
