Singer Jackson Wang dropped by The Late Late Show with James Corden on Monday for a cultural exchange with the host, sharing language, food, and sports from China and Britain. In return, Corden presented Wang with the most disgusting-looking pie known to man.

A member of South Korean boy group GOT7 and a solo artist in his own right, Wang demonstrated his less well known skills as a polyglot and accomplished fencer during the episode, teaching Corden a few phrases he could use in China before batting him about the head with a fencing foil.

"It's like you're saying 'James Corden's an idiot' in Morse code, on my face," joked Corden.

The two also shared a meal together, Corden watching eagerly as Wang added beef, mushrooms and greens into his steaming Chinese hotpot. The host was less enthused by the addition of cow stomach, retaliating with a dish he called a "stargazy pie" but which could more accurately be called a crime against fish, pies, and stargazing.

"It's disgusting, let's be honest," said Corden.

Even so, polite guest Wang didn't hesitate to put the alleged dish into his mouth, declaring it "not bad" and adding some to the hotpot. I guess we can add extraordinary bravery and a steel stomach to his list of skills.
