Few things are more damaging to a brand like Samsung than exploding smartphones, except, of course, when the public starts making genius jokes involving your defective product.

Such is the case with a new Grand Theft Auto 5 mod that allows players to use the Samsung Galaxy Note7 as a sticky bomb. And yes, it's as epic as it sounds. In a video demo, a player is shown walking into an ammunition store and buying a supply of the infamous smartphone, after which he wreaks havoc on the city.

Apparently created by a GTA player named HitmanNiko, the mod is described in the game as "a plastic explosive charge fitted with a remote detonator." The Note7 "bomb" is tossed at enemies, placed on vehicles and basically used to take out all comers. And in case there was any doubt about the intent, the smartphone's design and even the Samsung name match the real world product.

Is this fair to Samsung, which has endured a slew of bad press in recent weeks? Nope. But is it fun? Oooh yeah.
