Prepare for an absolute sweetness overload as you watch this 97-year-old grandpa ride in a Tesla for the first time.

His grandson told him about the car, but he could hardly fathom all the things the electric car was capable of doing. So they decided take a little joy ride to test it out.

As they drove through town, the grandpa was feeling a bit like he was in the future. At one point, he was taken aback at how quickly the car could pick up momentum and joked, “you gotta have a parachute to drive this car."

Once it was time to take the grandpa back home, he could hardly describe how cool it was to be in such a futuristic time. In response, his grandson assured him that, yes indeed, “it's the future."
