Whether you've seen it multiple times or are bitter about your 100th lottery loss, you may have noticed that Hamilton is popping up everywhere. The musical that stormed first New York and now Chicago will take the national stage on PBS's upcoming Hamilton's America.

The documentary follows the genesis of Lin-Manuel Miranda's musical phenomenon, including interviews and clips of its voracious fans -- including the Obamas -- behind-the-scene footage of Miranda composing, Christopher Jackson's personal journey to portraying George Washington, and more.

According to PBS, "The film endeavors to brush the dust off American history, much as the musical does, and provide a unique new way for us to view our national heritage and current political landscape."

Hamilton's America premieres Oct. 21.
